Funny title; as I don’t have much to say about Valentine’s Day at the moment- other than to point out gender dynamics are reaching a dysfunctional peak and we can (thankfully) expect a correction soon.
I mean; it’s only the future of the species that’s at stake. But whatevs.
The tone and temper of our current moment is me me memes…and that’s a good place to start.
Start with NO. As in what you will refrain from giving your invaluable time and attention to. There are so many distractions now that if you fail to say no you will dilute your time and attention into nothing of value for yourself.
One of the reasons I don’t post as much as others. I’m inclined to reach out and catch your attention only if I have something useful to share…not to just hold your attention for the sake of monetizing it.
So- here are a handful of things you really should start doing. Unsolicited advice I know. Hey, if you don’t like it, you can unsubscribe. Totally good with that.
- Walking Lunges. Low risk do anywhere effective exercise. Perform better and look better. An anti aging wonder. Literally no downside. If this and pushups was all you did you will have 2/3 of the potential benefits of exercise covered.
- Epsom salt foot soaks. 1/4 cup epsom salt, 8 oz peroxide, 1/2 tub warm water-20 minutes. Someday we will find something that works better. Until then, it remains my number 1 bio-hack for immunity, vitality, and mental health. You are deficient in Magnesium. This replaces it fast. How often? 5 days a week is what I do.
- Journal. Write it out. Talk it out. Do it while you are soaking your feet- record your thoughts and feelings. Gain insight into what is driving you- and take control of the direction of your life. This inner conversation is the best mental health exercise available. Discovery. Of your talents. Your dreams. Your gremlins. Self knowledge will form a foundation for achievements that will shine from within and cast a light on others. STOP settling for being a catcher’s mitt for other people’s content. Express yourself to yourself & cultivate a strong inner relationship. You will thrive beyond your imagination by dialing in these three habits.
